A trajectoid is a three-dimensional object designed to follow a desired path. The term was coined by Bartosz Grzybowski and his colleagues from the Institute for Basic Science in Ulsan, South Korea.<ref>"Shapes are programmed to roll along specific downhill paths". Physics World. 2023-08-14. Retrieved 2023-09-10.</ref> A mathematical algorithm to design trajectoids was developed by researchers in South Korea and a colleague from the University of Geneva in Switzerland.<ref>Yirka, Bob; Phys.org. These applications have not been materialized and trajectoids are mainly an exercise of research.<ref name=":0">Clark, Lindsay.
