English: Original Description: Alternators made in Budapest, Hungary, in the power generating hall of a hydroelectric station in Iolotan on the Murghab River.

This was the Hindu Kush Hydro Power Plant, in today's Turkmenistan, the largest hydro power plant of Russian Empire (built 1909)

The plate reads "Ганц. электр[отехническіе] комп[аніи] въ Будапештѣ" - The Ganz Electrical Company / Budapest.
Русский: Машинный зал крупнейшей в дореволюционной России Гиндукушской ГЭС мощностью 1,35 Мвт (1350 кет) на реке Мургаб (Туркмения). Её строительство завершилось в 1909
