English: AL ASAD AIR BASE, Iraq, – An Iraqi police officer in the Basic Criminal Investigation Course here lays down numbered tabs on a fake crime scene to mark evidence during the class’ final exercise. Leading up to the final exercise, the students learned about democratic policing and ethics, both of which focus on teaching officers they are committed to serving the public, and they have moral responsibilities to the community.
